Independent variable:
- Paper towels - 5 different brands of paper towel to carry out the experiment.
Controlled variable:
- Amount - only one paper towel will be used to absorb the liquid
- Liquid - the liquid will be kept consistent by setting up a perimeter in which the liquid could travel.
Recorded by how long it takes the paper towel to completely absorb the type of liquid.
